Susumaniello is a variety of red wine grape from the 'heel' of Italy. It is an ancient grape variety which is grown in the province of Brindisi in the southern Italian region of Apuli (also known by its Italian name Puglia)
Made from 100% Susumaniello, it is deep ruby red with purple shades. On the nose gives red and black fruits, a gentle zesty sensation, red flowers and hints of spices and tobacco.
Smooth and full bodied on the mouth, elegant and powerful, with ripe tannins, fresh and fruity, tasty and very long in persistence.
