Fontezoppa 'Pie di Ripa', Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Italy
Notes of ripe cherry and sweet spices. Elegant and fruity in the mouth, complex and harmonious, with spicy notes of liquorice and tobacco and velvety tannins that are long lasting.
An especially fantastic accompaniment to meaty pasta dishes and with meat dishes in general, especially game.

We're excited to present wine from Italian winemakers Fontezoppa, like this Montepulciano Pie Di Ripa. With delicious notes of ripe cherry & sweet spice, this ruby red is an elegant choice with hints of liquorice, tobacco & velvety tannins. Serve at 18 °C.

Obtained from Montepulciano grapes and aged for 8 months in barriques. Intense ruby red colour, with good consistency. To the nose, notes of ripe cherry and sweet spices. Elegant and fruity in the mouth, complex and harmonious, with spicy notes of liquorice and tobacco and velvety tannins that are long lasting.
